In 2013, I had the good fortune to visit a country that had been calling my name since I was a child. I had devoured the pictures of National Geographic, and read the stories about Jane Goodall, and I made the decision to go to Kenya in 2013. This trip was one of the most "spiritual" trips that I have ever experienced. To see the wildlife in their natural habitat was beyond something that I can adequately describe. The people, the colors, the rich smell of the fertile earth, and seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, monkeys and so many more birds and animals, was like a homecoming. My senses were revived and revitalized. My images don't do justice to the experience of visiting Africa.
